Rouen, France”1913
A cold wind blows through the streets. The late spring rain had only just cleared up, but the streets remained wet. Not many people were out on the street because of the incident. But two middle-aged men still hung around the street of the incident. One was reading from his newspaper, while the other was smoking his pipe. The two men were complete strangers, and they began to speak in French.
"You hear about that incident, right? said the man reading the newspaper.
"The one with the priest? said the other man, taking a small break from his pipe.
"Yeah. What was his name again¦?
"I believe it was Elliot, or something along those lines.
"That was it. Quite a grizzly thing it was. When the police found the body it was all mangled and ripped to pieces. Quite a juicy thing for the papers.
"Oui. It was like some kind of beast killed him. Though the strangest part is that his daughter is missing and hasn't been found as of yet.
"That's true! I almost forgot about that! I do believe some interesting things will happen in these next few months said the man, who the folded up his newspaper. He bid farewell to the other man and walked down the wet street. While a cold wind continued to blow through the streets.
