And long absence

Gives me
A satisfying sense
Eying my loved ones

With love
Embracing
Hugging and
Kissing them
To my heart’s
Content

Came home after
Two decades

Was overwhemed
when I was
Hugged
Embraced

Tightly squeezed
Kissed and
Welcomed

For I took
Love and
Relationships
For granted

Now, I know
Love like wine
Should be left
Until it matures

Cultivate and
Nurture it
Don't expect
You can always
Get it

If I don't leave and
Be absent for long

Would I have
Received such
Love and affection?

That is a big question
I wondered

How long
It would last

If I don't want
To loose it

Should I stay here
To cultivate, protect
And nurture it?

Bitter experience
Has now
Taught me

Even love
relationship
And affection
From once siblings

Is not bestowed
But earned and

Not take it for granted
