STAGNATION
I am being swallowed by quick sand,
I am being suffocated with a plastic bag,
I am paralysed from the waist down,
By the ferocious ocean I'm being drowned.
I can't reach the top of the hill,
I am shackled to an iron pole,
I can't break free from the prison cell,
I am trapped down a dark, dank well,
My feet have been glued to the ground,
I keep falling off the galloping horse,
I have been buried alive,
And I know I won't survive;
I need to be able to climb the mountain,
Only then will my life begin.
