Steve is sitting on a stool in front of his particularly messy desk, his tired blood shot eyes stare through a large magnifying glass, at a intricate piece of circuit board while attaching a minuscule microchip to the board, after five minutes relief washes over his pale face and he looks up at the smartly dressed twenty two year old standing on the other side of the desk, at the same moment and without looking he expertly drops his soldering iron into its holder.
‘The camera is almost ready, all I’ve got to do is put it back together!’ As he begins to re-assemble the many parts of the camera, his mass of messy unkempt hair bounces of its own accord as he moves his head round reaching for different tools and implements. While Jonathan a well-groomed student with his long brown hair tied in a loose pony tail quietly watches.
‘Cool so it will take pictures in the full spectrum?’ Jonathan asks, his sun kissed and handsome face sparkles as he asks the question, his eyes always seems have a sparkle, that’s why the ladies love him, but he is never usually without his girlfriend, whom is amazingly pretty and also instantly jealous, the preparation for a ghost hunt and indeed the ghost hunt itself are the only two things that keep her from his side, although Steve likes her, her beauty intimidates him and Jonathan acts different when she is there.
‘Yep it will… plus we also have the added bonus features of my own design... wi-max and thermal imaging incorporating a high definition camcorder!’ Steve answers pride etched within his voice he is obviously pleased with his accomplishments but he also sounds amazingly tired as his voice could almost sound like a croaking frog.
‘Wow thermal imaging, you’re fucking good!’ Jonathan states in astonishment, at the same moment a look of concern swaths his expression and he reaches into his courier bag to retrieve the soft drink a can of which he never leaves the house without, he then hands it to his friend.
‘I have my moments! The wi-max antenna will allow direct access to the campus server’ he states with the same tired almost dehydrated tone, Steve reaches up and accepts the can, his prise, tapping the top of the can with his finger, before opening it with one hand, ‘So will we be able to use it tonight… and will it go out on the internet in real time?’ Jonathan asks watching his friend’s dexterous movements as Steve opens the can and with one gulp almost empties it. .
