Oh! My! Gosh! Best diet 'Ever!' As you can tell, my new improved diet is going well. It is day two. Things could change, if I let them change, but for now...Loving my new weight loss strategy...
The key to a tasty sandwich, to prevent boredom setting in. Is...Variety of foods in one sandwich. My first {of 4} sandwiches of the day, was a sandwich thin 100 calories. With guacamole, cream cheese, turkey, polish pork loin, beetroot, italian salad leaves, fig & balsamic chutney. It was mouth watering delicious. At around 300-400 calories. I felt satisfied, full, not bloated, stuffed full. Just happily 'satisfied'
The key to successful dieting, is 'variety' is taste. Is enjoying every mouthful. When filling a sandwich, I am eating everything in moderation, it is portion control, convenient, tasty, reasonably healthy. Plus another advantage...Less washing up...
Last time I done this diet. It was going so well. I was losing weight. Feeling great, but come the evening. I was craving sugary treat foods. Which lead to a out of control binge! Ugh! I am ready for it this time. In the evening I have my favourite cuppa soup. Thai chicken & lemon grass. It has a 'Mmm!' combination of sweet, savoury, spicy, which makes my taste buds feel they are getting a treat food, but for around 100 calories, plus soup, so liquid, which has the added bonus of hydrating & feeling full...
I may still have to deal with the sugar addiction, but I am ensuring I can curb it when the urge to binge rears its ugly head...
We are going out in a mo. I want to buy a tiny Xmas tree in a pot, to grow all year, hopefully for years. Someone posted a photo of their real Xmas tree in a pot. There was a few comments saying they had kept their Xmas tree in a pot for years. One was 19 years...I felt inspired to buy my own little tree. Apparently after Xmas, you put them out in a sunny spot, keep watered. Moist, not soggy. Then when you see new growth in the spring, you fertilise...I'm taking it you move it to semi shade in the hot summer months...I am looking forward to my next sandwich & seeing my little Xmas tree grow bigger & more beautiful over the years....
Nuff said for now...
