No More

The numbness surrounds.
Like a barrage of rain,
Pummels me,
Dragging me down with my face in my hands.
Tears that have defied death, defied life.
Fall freely to shatter like broken glass
Forming bitter puddles upon the ground.
Lost in myself I wander home.
Face red, with sadness, with anger.
Eyes glazed over , coated with deceit..
Once again betrayed, once again alone,
Once again free.
Why did you do this?

Bite into it.
Tear it apart with you teeth.
