The Spiralling Explosions

I have eradicated many people,
They seem an easy prey,
For when I'm in another,
From my will they do not stray.

At the battlefield,
I bubble on either side,
Waiting for sword on flesh,
And here I can turn the tide.

I slither behind the assassin,
Predicting his every move,
For when the job is on the cards,
The assassin I will sooth.

I'm stronger than democracy,
I always break the peace,
And then when I am in control,
My power will not cease.

I'm hidden in the governments,
Noiselessly opressed,
But then when a war is called,
My skills are put to test.

I come to the commander,
Flaunting a loaded gun,
Soon I will expode in him,
His nation will turn and run.

I am in the child,
I am in the king,
I have control of everyone,
Have strength over everything.
