I Am Giving You Back

These sticks and bowls, having been born individually, became
instantly part of families. The sticks were a family of two, the bowls
a family of four.
In time they became separated. The sticks became alone, while the bowls
became two sets of two. One stick went with one set of bowls, the other
with the remaining two. Although separated, the original families of
two sticks and four bowls persist through time and space. But just
knowing that will not be enough for the sticks and bowls.
Coming from Eastern Asia and merely moving to Western Europe, they in
no way became assimilated into either the religious or philosophical
culture of their new home.
The Eastern beliefs of sticks and bowls do not recognise the western
human idea of separation, or breaking-up. The bowls and sticks believe
in oneness and the continuity of the whole. Therefore, the sticks and
bowls, while separated will never forget or cease their search, to be
inevitably reunited with the one's they were born to be with.
So, late at night, when it is dark, take a look at the two bowls and
one stick that you have in your possession, and watch as the stick
points to the south, and the bowls spin, as they yearn to be reunited
with the one's they love.
