I am kicking myself loose
as the snaking ties twist my waist
lash my ankles to the heaving ground
losing touch
grasp
sensation
circulation
hands unclench, feet frosted
so I kick loose
the restraints melt, slip, swirl down my body
join the steaming stream
circle the dripping drain
peer
look into the abyss, it will look
back into my heart.
Is it darkness?
I have kicked myself loose of the Earth.
I have kicked the very Earth to pieces.

A poignant poem. really
A poignant poem. really good. I don't mind something like this being autobiographical. It is rather abstract and makes me think. Thanks for the read.
