A Vampires Deathly Bite

They say you keep what you kill and in a vampires case I assume this is very true, because what you kill is still alive but dead. I am a trained assassin and went through things no child should have to but in the process I learned much like how to cut off all emotion or how to hide emotion I should say. I was sent to a school that I find very strange I am seventeen and I am very strong. Everything has to begin somewhere my story begins here.
I know that there is something different about this school I just haven’t figured it out yet what I find strange is how they have a class that is separated from us a night class and that we cannot leave our dorms past nine pm it is very strange. Well I can leave because I am suppose to watch the night class this school has many secrets and I have only found out one this school is some kind of test just like my life I guess you could say.
I went through the usual classes and then headed to the other campus I blend in by not showing anything so I cannot be recognized by anyone I wear a white hoody and gothic white trip pants with chains down the sides, it matched there uniforms the color that is.
I went to the usual spot a bench right outside the dorms and then it happened, I was sitting there and then two of them came out arguing and then I saw ones teeth or fangs dig into the other ones skin they were vampires then the other threw the one that was biting him into the wall. Then I saw him he was tall his hair was black jet black long but not too long a little spiky and he had green eyes he was masculine but feminine he was very beautiful all of a sudden the other two stopped immediately and bowed to him, then they gazed over there shoulder to where he was looking at me. I quickly averted my eyes stood up and began to walk away but then the one that stopped them was in front of me, a vampire was standing in front of me.
“You didn’t see anything” he said walking away from me
The saddest thing is that I saw everything and I wasn’t going to forget it because this wasn’t the first time I had met vampires only once before have I seen a vampire and that was one time I would like to forget existed. I walked to my dorm I called Laney she could take my shift tonight for some reason I knew this was going to come back to haunt me some how. I slept on it got up the next morning and prepared for school went through classes half there half somewhere else I wasn’t sure where but I was somewhere.
I went to the campus and then I saw them all walk across tonight I guess they all had classes the night class was very different form what we humans look like they were all so very organized and beautiful.
And there he was the guy from last night they all seem to follow him none of them even saw me I made sure to blend in today but then something happened a noise from the bushes and then they jumped out now these I recognized assassins I knew one of them but I stayed back for the time being. The head vampire man stepped in front of me I think they were there for the vampire man.
“Jerel, Kazuki and Kaname I suppose you know why we are here” one of the assassins said
One of them took aim at one of the other vampires and used a skill I recognized the vampire turned to dust they would be no match for these type of assassins at least the normal vampires wouldn’t be I had a long talk about the vampires here with the principal today.
“If you don’t want anymore of your people to die I would recommend coming with me or let me kill you too especially that helpless girl behind you I could kill her no problem” he looked back at me and then back to the assassin and stepped forward.
“I’ll go with you” he said
“Very wise decision” he said to the vampire
“Well you really think you can kill me” I said
“Don’t get involved human you’ll die” he said to me not even looking at me I stepped out from behind him
“Well looks like she is welcoming death” one of the assassins said he lunged at me with a dagger using a backwards technique I dodged easily I flipped forward and my hood fell down I leaned against a post you could now see my face and my hair witch was deep red and up in a clip my eyes were a blue/green.
The one assassins mouth dropped open. The others ran away.
“What now you’re afraid come on you were dealing with vampires but you’re scared of a little girl.” I said
“We’ll be back you can count on that” he said to me
“Come back when you think you can take me” I said
I put the hood up and walked past him.
I went straight to my dorm and straight to sleep way too much excitement for my own good tonight. I hate high school so if it is true that high school never ends then my life id going to be a living hell oh wait been there seen that live it. Sometimes I am so cynical I even scare myself ain’t it great syke.
The next day classes went the same as usual nothing abnormal until after school I got a note that said come to an address right away I told Michael to watch the school until I got back he agreed. On my way to the address I saw him again Jerel.
“Hello” he said to me stopping his walk
“Good evening” I replied
“Very nice show last night” he said
“I guess so me being human and all” I said
“You had no fear of me or them for one thing and that is very strange” he said
“You aren’t the first to tell me that I don’t scare very easily” I said
“Really well I had best be getting to class” he said
“Yes you probably should and I have a pressing engagement” I said and he was gone and so was the paper which was strange
We had a few run ins every now and then he wasn’t too bad I mean for a vampire if that makes any sense to you. I got another note this time it was in the most beautiful script it was an address again I became very well acquainted with a vampire named Kazuki he was very nice and very good friends with Jerel. I think this was his handwriting I guess he knew my measurements since the note gave the address to a shop that had dresses at it I went and picked it up the dress that is I got dressed in it and went to the address where he was waiting outside for me. The dress wasn’t a dress it was more of an outfit it was a black midriff that had a deep red wilting rose on it and a black midriff jacket that had many designs on it and the designs were in dark red and then there was a deep red and black skirt the outside was black but it slit up the sides and the inner fabric was deep red. I wore my hair up in a clip and I had glitter all over my stomach and some in my hair line. I had on a choker with a clock attached to it.
I had on eyeliner and dark red eye shadow and a dark red lipstick with a black outline.
“You look amazing” he said
“I thought it was you who wrote the note” I said
“Well ya I thought you should be invited” he said
“And who is this lovely young lady” said Kaname
“Good evening Kaname” I said
Wow these guys were hot even without there uniforms and they look really hot in there uniforms.
“Good evening may I say you look very stunning very, very stunning Miss”
“Thank you” I replied to him
“Now may I inquire to why I am here?” I asked them all they all looked to the ground and then back up and then down again like they had done something against the rules.
“What?” I asked
“Well this is Jerel’s Birthday party and you are going to be his date” Kazuki said
My mouth dropped open not just because of what he said but because of how good Jerel looked he just looked amazing I mean I know it is his party but oh my god.
“You have to be kidding me” I said
That wasn’t what I meant to say it just came out that way and I meant that in a good way too. Before I could take it back Jerel had me pinned to a wall but there wasn’t even a little fear in my eyes but I was scared not that he could tell but I was.
“You will be my date I assume they put you upto this”
“actually I knew as of five minutes ago myself sorry to bruise your ego but I wouldn’t be your date if the world crumbled” I said.
“Oh really fine then go” he said he let go and I walked out the door
“Man we screwed your birthday” Kazuki said
“No this was a great birthday” he said “ I know she hates me that is how it belongs” he said
“But is that how you want it” Kazuki asked him and went upstairs toward the party
I went back to my dorm and just chilled my room was empty I was alone as usual but why do I feel like it is wrong to always be alone now but I never felt that way before? I have always been alone and very good at pushing people away and it isn’t necessarily all my fault but the majority is. I checked my answer machine there was a missed call I pressed the play button:
“Hello this is Reginald I was calling to inform you that the house will be entirely empty because all the staff including I have quit but please don’t take it the wrong way Madam enjoy the rest of your life”
So for this evening I decided to light some candles and meditate until I can’t stand it anymore until I feel so alone that I feel like I will be engulfed by my own heart beat, believe me that time will happen. That time did happen to be precise about three hours later than I had expected it too but it happened at one in the am an I knew this would be the worst time to be outside of the dorms because it is the vampires waking hour. I walked toward the park on the right side of the school it is a lovely park but it is so dark and I am always alone when I visit which isn’t the smartest idea I know especially since I am on the vampires campus. And now I know for sure it wasn’t the brightest idea the smoke must have gone to my head really really gone to my head this is the waking hour and there are about twenty vampires including the two from before Lineage and the other on and they looked happy to see me.
“Hello there” they said to me walking toward me
“Human girl think you got what it takes to hang with the vamps wait no you don’t or you didn’t this evening” A girl said I believe her name is Ami
“That’s right I can’t” I said and began to walk away
“Where do you think you are going”
“Far far away from you” I said and turned and continued to talk I didn’t realize that in that crowd was Jerel and Kazuki Lineage grabbed my arm I flipped him backwards pulled out my silver switchblade and had it directly at my throat.
“Don’t ever touch me because next time you do it will be your death anyone else while I’m at it even attempt getting close to me and I will severely maim you possibly kill you no I will kill you I am in a fowl mood so don’t be foolish and play with me.” I said icily I turned on my heel and began walking.
“Well we may be vampires but we have friends at least” she said to me
“Well that’s good seeing how you have all eternity to piss them off” I said in reply and she just stared at me and then I knew to take my leave and I went to my room as quick as possible. Once in my room I knew I needed to rest for tomorrow nights routine stakeout.
The next morning around four in the am I got up for my usual shift and walked around and watched one by one as the vampires came out of classes and went to their hang outs similar to ours. They all had on exquisite clothing. I saw Ami with Vaughn and his group and then I saw a friend with her group and then there was me not really welcome in either world.
I walked around watching for another hour or so till finally someone came to relieve me of my post.
“Hey Lil, go to bed before you die of exhaustion” Laney said to me
“Finally I need sleep” I told her
“I’d think so after all the late nights you put in” she said to me
“Catch ya later” I said heading back to my dorm I got stopped mid way by Ami.
“Hi misfit girl” she said to me I really wanted to go to sleep
“What cat got your tongue” she said again
“Answer me” Vaughn just sat there watching right behind her
“Hey you little mutant non friend having human answer me maybe you lost your parents maybe you don’t need anybody but man do you need some fashion advice not to mention a new face” she said to me
“Are you done yet” I asked her getting more and more agitated
“No I have a lot more to say and oh look you have two hours till class” she said to me I was beginning to get pissed I need sleep and food.
“I don’t have two hours to waist you may but I don’t you know us humans we require sleep”
“Really well looks like you’ll be deprived of it tonight” she said Vaughn just laughed
“Everyone here thinks it is fun to laugh at your expense let me see how far I can push you until you break.” she said slamming me into a wall then drop kicking me to the ground, she picked me up and punched me in the stomach.
“Are you sure we should let Ami do this” Genji asked Vaughn
“It is her fault for not just pushing past her not that she really could of” Vaughn said
My stomach hurt I think she cracked a rib I can’t breathe anymore maybe if I lie here I can die.
“I think I made her cry I might have even killed her no lose to the world” Everyone laughed
“Really I think I’m still kicking” I said standing up
“Yay I can continue the beat down” she said and before I knew she was sinking her teeth into my skin and it hurt like hell.
“How does it feel to have your blood drained I hear you were an assassin and you let your partner be killed by a vampire you were helpless and he was your lover or something now you know how he felt”
I felt it the anger swelling up in me but I knew better she tossed me against the wall again and beet me pretty badly.
After she left me there I got up and went to my dorm I skipped classes and bandaged myself up I couldn’t bring myself to fight back maybe I was too tired I don’t know why but I couldn’t do it. I took the midnight shift tonight sat on a bench and read a book then she walked by laughing I ignored her and everyone that was with her I have gotten used to this so many times it isn’t even funny.
I walked around for awhile then I ran into Vaughn.
“You don’t look so well” he said not the least bit worried
“Really” I said sarcastically he laughed and then got serious
“You should be more careful” he said to me and walked away a bit then turned around
“Next time I will let Ami kill you if you don’t fight back” he said
“Is that a promise” I asked and walked toward him there was anger in his eyes
“Yes” he said and walked away
I just continued walking to avoid thinking about anything but that wasn’t working for me tonight. I stopped short of going toward the crew that Jerel hung with including Ami. I was too late she saw me.
“Hey girl with no friends come here for a moment” she said
I walked over just because I could Jerel just looked at me and then at Ami he kept his eyes on Ami now. Kazuki looked terrified because he was afraid of what Ami would do to me tonight and that no one would do anything about it.
“Well how is life for you today you have a few cracked ribs I assume” she said and looked at me I just stood there.
“Jerel told me I could kill you if I wanted too so I may just do that I have been dying to get rid of you, you are a morbid menace to society” she told me looking me in the eyes
She took her hand and she punched me in the stomach I just let her and I fell to the ground. Something in me clicked to life right then a part of the me I had chosen to forget ever existed and that really wasn’t working for me at the moment.
I got back up.
“Wow you can still stand I’m amazed” then I heard Kazuki whisper to me “Just lay down and play dead and she will give up”
She took her next swing I jumped up and landed on her arm as light as a feather.
“You wanna play” I asked “You don’t know what you have gotten yourself into then do you” I said to her I flipped over her head and in the blink of an eye I had a dagger at her throat her eyes were closed as if to say please I am begging you don’t put that knife any closer to my throat.
“Luckily for you Ami I am not the kind of person that would take anothers life for something so trivial as a little rivalry.” I said to her she looked at me with a new look in her eyes admiration.
“Miss Montemorency we need your help in the office immediately.”
“Okay tell Lanek to get out here and take the rest of my shift” I told him “now as for the rest of you if this ever happens again to another human I will not hesitate to take your life” I said and walked to the office.
