i have ever had have the favorite color blue
what does that say about me? what does that say about you?

i spent a whole summer
eating gravel and sticking forests into my veins
everyone else described it as "being a laze." if they
had seen the danger, they would have called it a crime
self-inflicted, sure, but i still did the time.

build a dam the monsters can't get through
but that would leave out me, leave out you
and if I was happy, well, what's the appeal?
if i was feeling pleasant, these words wouldn't be real.

Another good read ALT. I really do think that your posts could be really good short prose rather than poems. But that's just my opinion. Keep up this fine work.

Thank you! I was actually just thinking about that - my current style is definitely prose, but wouldn't it still be classified under poem anyways? They match the rhyme/flow of a poem better than they would a story, and I don't think they match in the 'other' category, either.

No, if you put it down as a story and write it in your own short sharp style Then it would definately be prose. Up to you but I really like the style of writing... More please!
