ONE FOR YOU

This poem is one for you;
Created for you alone.
It's private and personal.
Feel free to call it your own.

Every single word written,
Is written with you in mind.
It's you right from the outset.
You're even between the lines.

No other comes into it.
Does that also include me?
If it does, it is the same,
As things in reality.

I don't know if it's you or me,
Who makes me think of you so much,
For if it wasn't for my mind,
I wouldn't care for you as such.

But if I hadn't met you;
If it wasn't for your face,
Then I'd not be able to,
Think of you in the first place.

You see what you've gone and done?
You have only involved me.
This one's now not about you;
But the us I wish there'd be.
