Strange as it may seem, I've seen, seen it all
The glorious rise and the ridiculous fall
Of the things they sit and praise
While in the backyard the children talk of now
Yet it is them we call fools somehow
And many a mothers tuck their children in
The beds and many feel kicks within
To bring and breed them by the hours
In a world that devours
So often the ones who dare to dream
While the children talk of what is now
And still it's them we label fools somehow
I have been shown what it means to be lost
I've known the cost
Of wandering down the mystic lanes
My heart encompassing all my pains
On roads I've so fondly walked
