The storied Ripper, as he had come to be known, had seen, by count
alone, too many strumpets: this one, however, was different, in a way
he could not have imagined when, as a young and, callow, fellow, he
first took to the tin pan alleys of London; no, she was decidedly
distinct, in such as way as to give him pause: 'she' was undercover
Constable Harold, if you please; but, as events would soon reveal, the
perverse passions of both collided so as to make,
well&;#8230;&;#8230;the 'Ripper' a bit more cautious and the
Constable in question&;#8230;&;#8230;.. a bloody soprano!
