Is it just me
who gets those days when everything,
just isn't going your way?
Am i the only one who
turns everything off,
even when i could leave them on standbye?

Am i the first person
to think that if i eat loads at night,
i won't be hungry in the morning?
Is it only i who thinks
that im the last one to know,
all the juicy gossip?

Am i really the only one
who doesn't pretend around freinds,
to make myself look better?
I think im the last
person who thinks old fanshion romance,
is better then a date and a quicky behind the bike shed,
but am i right?

Has the modern world
moved on to fast for me to keep up,
or have they all taken a wrong turn?

Andrew, I was drawn to this piece by its refreshing honesty. You say much here and the last stanza has certainly given me food for thought. "Has the modern world moved on to fast for me to keep up, or have they all taken a wrong turn?" Keep up with the writing. It shows great promise. Tina
