Weariness

My soul is weary from this journey
Craves the light of another plain
Another country
Another scene
Another existence

Free from the hold
Of this chain forged from love
That I’d hoped would solve everything
But was wrong

You cannot fix the unfixable
Cause change in the unchangeable
Force the waters to stay back
Life presses on

Relax and flow
Do what has to be done
Let spirit handle the rest

Trust more
Love more
Live more
For that is all we can do
When faced with hind sight
Worry caused more trouble

Pray more
Sing more
Talk more
For our hearts love interaction
Stagnation causes bitterness
Memories to rise
Like spectres in the night

When the shadows come
Welcome them and treat them like a guest
Close the door on their leaving
Return to your life
For they are just visitors
And are not the real you
