Autumn leaves

waat is a leaf?
I make mistakes,
Yet i am a spelling mistake
Have I my mistaken my identity
The answer lies in the palm
but not of my hand,
the swimming pool is large,
but it still fits the cow
yet the leaf is still abrupt
