BOMB SHELLED

Lazy days so hard to change,
Dishevelled hair you can't arrange.
Sleepy eyes that just won't wake,
A swirling head of your own make.
Early morning Dragons' breath
Amazed you've stooped to lower depths.
Shave that stubble from your tongue,
It's payback time for all your fun.
Face is covered with imperfections,
Can't bare to look at your own reflection.
Clothes all scattered across the floor,
No time to find what you adore.
Your coffee intake all but doubles,
Stomach churns with acid bubbles.
Rush to work without some things,
Times like this you need those wings.
An impatient boss at office doors,
Exuses made which he abhors.
With survival being the key today,
To converse with others is kept at bay.
Relieved at last to make it home,
You get in bed to sleep alone.
But your restless heart is all too plain,
Tonight, tomorrow, shall be the same.
