Deep Painting.

My emotions lie tissue thin
Beneath my skin
And permeate each other
Like pigments on an artist's palette
A warm yellow seeps into my blues
And creates an envy green
A crimson bleeds into a charcoal grey
And reveals my dark heart
And as my life's painting
Nears completion
I slowly wait
For the final stroke
