"Hot?."
"Hot?"
"?.."
The sand was burning and sizzling under his feet as he
stumbled through nature's hell.
"One foot? the other? first one again? and??"
Tripping over his mind he fell face forward, panting an endless river
into the sand.
"Would you like a drink, sir?"
For a moment he didn't look up. Then he turned his head around, didn't
took notice of the sand in his mouth, and spoke.
"I'd like a scotch please."
"On the rocks or straight?"
"With ice, please."
"Pure or with water?"
"With water, please."
"Ok, I'll get it for you, sir."
"On second thought, just leave the scotch out of that."
"Ok, sir."
He sat down in the sand and looked around. The sun was
burning viciously into his eyes.
"Now, where's that penguin?"
"?"
"Must be closed or something?"
"Better go see the bears then."
The sun rose to its highest top.
"Hmm? sun's out. Nice time for a walk in the
park."
He got up and fell forward again, for the last time.
?
He noticed a dark figure standing next to
him.
"Wh- Who are you?"
"I'm here to take you with me."
"I bet you say that to all the girls."
"Yes."
