Dying with Mahler

That note towards the end of Resurrection
(You know the bit, it's when your heart starts thumping)
Is near as dammit musical perfection -
Unless your CD's scratched and prone to jumping

As mine is- so perfection gets repeated.
And though it isn't my fault in the least -
I always feel (blame Nietzsche) that I've cheated -
I haven't really suffered for my feast.
