Will my rantings end
I am suffocated by thoughts and feelings
Yet to reach the blank pages of my youth
Nor the blank pages of my future
This is one long rhyme
One long theme running like a river
This bluntness not my style
The joker with a pen
The pen that never seems to run out of ink
The pen I grasp
Grasping but not working it
The connection not being made
Forces beyond my power
Impotent
The ignorance of the public
Where is education
Learning seems non-existent
Ignored and unappreciated
Cobwebs on the buildings of our institutions
The living rooms are worn from use
This is definitely the disease
The disease that is yellowing America
Corrupting and killing our youth
They are know more about drugs than history
More about alcohol than vocabulary
Has the media lost meaning
Capitalism is hurting our minds
Not that I am against prosperity
My heart is strongly advocates education
I want my campaign to promote
Promoting the journey and
Experiences felt by reading a book
