THE FLOWERS OF DUNBLANE
The flowers that God picked within the fields of old Dunblane
Are now in heaven's garden; there forever to remain
An ever living symbol of a darkened human mind
Created by a world which sometimes chooses to be blind
They'll bloom throughout eternity, their innocence won't die
And watered by God's tender hands, they'll never once ask "why?"
It's we who'll ask the questions as they flower in paradise
It's we who'll search for answers from behind our tear stained
eyes
They're together in God's garden; playing games just as before
No evil there to hurt them; only love behind His door
Forever friends eternally; so young, so loved, so free
Our world can never hurt them, nor remove their purity
Tomorrow it will rain and other flowers take their place
Tomorrow we'll regain, the beauty in that empty space
But just for now those empty fields, still empty must remain
Our hearts and minds must witness now; the flowers of Dunblane
