Fool

Here I am on the edge of a cliff
I've been here before
I only worry about the landing
I'm not fussed about the fall
You say that I'm a quitter
Describe me as a fool
All I'm doing is standing up to you
And sometimes being kind is cruel
You don't see all the money I make
All the work I do
Means that my life suffers poverty of time
And merely justifies you
I step over the edge
With my face trained to the stars
Through some science but mainly intuition
They'll tell me where we are
I'll use them to guide me
To the place where I'll land
And I'll leave you with this wisdom
"None of us are truly planned"
