The night before she was married
She kissed the man next door
He held her in his arms
And said are you sure?
She felt safe and warm there
And wanted her intended no more.
She replied with a tear filled eyes.
All these things are put on me
Who I kiss, who I should marry,
If I could choose your arms
I surly would, but I stand in
The shadow of I should.
With them words she ran for the door
Leaving him so un-sure,
She wrapped herself in her wedding gown
She looked so pure and un-touched
Un-broken flesh for her wedding night
But she knew her intended ones
Hands were not right.
In the horns of dilemma she was not
She knew the way right out or not
All these things twist her mind
Dawn is near, it is nearly time.
So blood on the dress
That's the way out
Oh pretty bride
Never touched in side.
So a promise she could not break
A love she could not fake
As she slips away
She thinks ' who will eat the cake'
