I have no sea

Harmonising concept and knowledge
words so fragile so remote
I have been constructing and deconstructing
no less than draining
excitement become a race
not lost pacified
I hold words in contention and am
permanently afraid of misunderstanding
disparities between knowledge and
understanding
and I can barely see for the profusion of animosity
alas anomalous self
sparse and precluded from logic
and then it all sinks as though a familiar pattern
and that the words knew each other in another life
And I watch them meet and am confident unconfident
yet non of it quite fits to the notion of dichotomy
sequence roams somewhere between the definitions
that always say something about the way I have approached my work
what I want and lastly what I have left
politics twisting symbols so that they resonant
thought even though an illusion
we both know thought is before words
and words condition us certifiably
in an all but an unsatisfying allusion
So we relax and we know that before us is the irony of mirrors
and we have not left what we never
knew only traces become what sinks
slowly into your soul penetrating what you desire to share
