I thank you fates
For a spouse I don't hate.
I now have a man to love
He was brought in on the wings of a dove.

With the love we both share
We have brought into our lives.
Home, hearth, family and heirs
Our name to be carried on with their wives.

As this family continues to grow
As expected we shall grow old.
Within their hearts family holds
Something far more precious than gold.

I thank you fates
