which causes you to offend someone,
and not be aware of it

and you are aware of it,
but are not aware of their feelings.

No, even worse still is when in your ignorance
you are led to believe
that the one you have wronged is the fool,
and you are in the right.

No. The worst by far it is
when you are aware of your fault,
and you are aware of the feelings of the other,
but are not aware of the need to make amends.

No. There still can be worse:
Know that you are at fault,
that you ought to make amends
but do not see why
your amends should be sincere and genuine.
