It makes sense

Many suppose being a committed Christian is incompatible to the
freedom enjoyed in other individual's lives or worse irrelevant to
contemporary lifestyles of a new century.
Hower those prepared to approach with an "open mind mindset" will find
Christianity consistent with both a scientific outlook and particularly
with individualistic ideas so prevalent to-day albeit perhaps from its
own perspective! An enquiring but open mind is all that is needed,as the
Christian faith is not only a reasoned set of beliefs but more
importantly a continuing relationship of trust with the living
responsive God.
Christians do not need to sacrifice their intellectual honesty for this
relationship with Jesus which gives real meaning and purpose to develop
oneself mentally, spiritually and ethically as we thereby find our true
place in the universe becoming the whole person in body, mind and spirit
as was originally intended.
More to the point the universal problem of death (which in itself denys
purpose to our individual existence) is solved for Christians. When we
turn back to our creator we receive the gift of eternal life via the
sacrifice Jesus made when he died ,rose and thereby defeated death once
and for all.
As we turn back to the source of our being our individual recovery
begins in a kind of pyscosomatic manner, first our perspective changes
and this impacts upon our well being within ourselves, then like a
pebble thrown in a pond riplles outward to those closest to us in
family, work and leisure relationships. The change derived not from our
own strength but via the inner help christians receive as a part of
Jesus's community.
