Johnny learns to Love

Learning how to write is fundamental to our survival in today's
society. Johnny is a seven-year-old boy who goes to school everyday. He
tries so hard, but never feels like he accomplishes anything. One day
is teacher had a conference with his parents. The teacher thought that
Johnny might have a learning disability. The parents agreed to have
Johnny tested and sure enough he was diagnosed with being dyslexic.
Johnny remained in his regular classroom, but got assistance from an LD
teacher. This LD teacher, Mrs. Rosely, taught Johnny that reading and
writing could be fun. This personal attention really motivated Johnny,
and he also was exposed to new techniques that helped him read. Well it
didn't take long for Johnny to catch up to the rest of his class. Now
Johnny is a ferocious reader and writer and he hopes his story can
inspire others to not be afraid of reading and writing.
