So far I've travelled,
Yet further to go,
Still more trudging tomorrow,
To exit today.
But, backward,
I see a long path changed,
Forward, a road less travelled.
New obstacles to climb,
More castles in the air to conquer.
A tear shed here,
A few more on your shoulder,
A soul ripped out and dashed aside.
I've travelled so far
Through time to return.
Enough looking back
At what's best forgotten.
A girl, interrupted.
Or similar.
But look ahead now
Out to horizons
Up to the castles
The dreams.
The girl, interrupted built the foundations.
The girl reborn,
Placed,
On the road less familiar.
