I'm not the kind of fellow that believes in holding onto memories the
past.

But deep down in my heart I just knew that our love would always
last:

I've tried hard to forget, but my heart and my mind seems never to
agree.

I guess I might as well face it, You'll always and forever be a part of
me.

Thought that I was ever so strong, felt that I could handle almost
anything.

I guess I must have been wrong, Cause I can't get you out of my
dreams.

So I hold onto distant memories that grow stronger with each passing
day.

For that's all that remain of the remnants of a love that refuses to go
away.

Although We're separated by the vastness of time and many miles
apart.

Precious memories of you I cling to, and I'll always hold you next to
my heart.

Although I'm trying to revive the past, I still can't escape the moment
that I'm in.

I only Pray that the future mends with the past to make my life worth
while again.

But for now I'll just hold you next to my heart, for that's truly where
you belong.

Although for now time and space may hold us apart, I'll just keep on
holding on.

To the memories of you that seems never to fade, they grow stronger
every day.
