Kinetic Stranger

So who are the strangers, the listless dull-eyed wanderers?
Would they weave and dance in the bullet ridden dreams
Of you or I?
Could I catch you one time, weeping into tomorrow?
With eyes of marble and tears of sand,
Will you call out the stranger's name?
Will the Silver tongue sway you?
The Chromium Viper King laughs loudest at those he fears most,
Settle upon the Throne of Innocence child,
Then lock away your dreams in Golden caskets,
Throw away the jewelled key,
Watch,
Let the poisoned stream wash away
Flow to the Dying Sea, we'll build castles in the blackened sand,
Our finger hold on reality, leaving scratch marks on the coast
Watching the hooded strangers drowning in the summer surf
while your captivating smile,
with sparkle on the wind,
blowing white magic in my eyes.
