Leaving

It's hard leaving California.
Walking, walking until we
Come to another Earth.
There are no seatbelts
On that rutted, red earth road
To becoming a simple man.
Not tolerating that activity
Would mean condoning the
Wasteful Dissipation
Of a dying breed.
This campaign could be
Contagious as it awaits trial
And lets the wish
Of God prevail.
