Looking for what

Looking for what
They're all looking for what we have found.
They're all on an endless quest to to have fun, only
They're always missing having it on account of
Their trying to find where it's at the most.
A life seemingly superficial riddled with pain
From feelings of a deeper loneliness unshared.
Yet out there, they put on a front, a front so transparent
To those who can see through it, it's funny.
Or is it?
We've all been there.
Yet sooner or later someone comes along
In the same boat as you to share your pains
And offer comfort in a way only they can.
A connection is made; A special bond forms.
The superficial life once lead before suddenly makes sense.
It serves a purpose and once figured out, the door opens,
And the light shines. Yet those stuck there hate you.
You've found what they are looking for, but don't understand.
Or do they?
They're still there lookin'.
Looking for fun is looking for the one.
The one who is looking for you in the same way
You were looking for them; Two become one.
And the life once lead soon becomes history.
Now it's time to lead a new life, build a new life
While having fun, real fun, fulfilling fun.
A sense of achievement waits around every corner
Of a new life founded on a strengthening foundation.
That of love.
A life-fulfilling love.
