Lost love

I see a foul projectory,
Of all the sorrows at my gate,
And now, this sad soliloquy,
Doth speed the arrow of my fate.
My heart, the holder of my past,
And all the tears I ever shed,
Dares for a moment to move fast,
With every image in my head.
I was loved, long time ago,
And I was loved by you,
Like footprints in fresh fallen snow,
Forever changing something new.
My peace and soft security,
My love, you ripped apart.
Thy cold and crushing hand, my dear,
Did strike my hoping heart.
My love, a beacon in the mist
Doth stand before thee still.
Thou look'st on me with frown and fist,
One heart, one soul, one will.
A man thou art, and one who's true,
Giving of self and kind,
I'll love thee still my whole life through,
Whate'er path I find.
Thou lovest another now, my dear,
I know that love is true,
I can't do aught or interfere,
But still would be with you.
