Love &; Death

It's the year 1903. A girl at the age of 14 is swinging in a
hammock, and reading Romeo and Juliet, the book. She is a pretty little
girl with long blond hair and blue eyes. She dressed in a fine white
coloured dress with little roses embroiderd on it. She was at the part
of the book that Romeo killed himself for he thought Juliet was dead.
Then she said to herself,

"I wish that someday a man would love me enough to do that,"

But little did she know how her life was to be in a couple of
years...............

"Mary Anne please go to the shops and by a loaf of bread, and the usual
vegetables" called her Mother.

"Ok Mama, I will" She replied

She set of down the cobbled streets of London to the grocers and the
bakers. She was just turning and saying goodbye to the baker when she
bumped into a boy of 17 in a pair of grey trousers, waistcoat and
cap.

"Good mornin' to ya' Mam," Her said as he bowed,

"Good morning, What is your name?" She asked this stranger,

"William, Mam," He replied

"Mines Mary Anne," She said

"Well it's was nice meeting you," He said,

" And you, " She replied,

Mary Anne then left the store, her heart uplifted by what had just
happend. She hurried to the house and told her mother.

"Mama, Mama," she shouted up the garden path,

"What dear child?" Her Mum replied,

"I've just met my true love" She answered

"My dear but you are too marry the Mayor's son, Roland" said her
Mum,

"No! this can't be,"She said,

"I'm afraid so, you are to be married in December" said her Mum

"No! No!" She said,

All though they new it was wrong they carried on their relationship in
secret.

"I love you, don't ever forget," He said,

With this he held out a gold ring with a forget me not crafted in
it.

"Oh William It's beautiful, but how could I ever forget you," She
said,

That evening she talked to her Mum.

"Mama, I've got to marry William, I love him" She said,

"You can't, I won't allow it," Her mum replied,

Then she ran upsrairs and locked herself in her room. She would not eat
nor talk to, anything or anybody, apart from William, which the family
would not allow.
But finaly the family decided to suprise her and go find William.

"I shall kill my self, that's what I'll do" she said to herself while
the others were out.

Then shen took her very sharp knife she used as a letter opener, put it
to her chest and killed her self.
Meanwhile............,

'Knock! Knock!,'

"Are you William?" Her Mum asked

"Yes Mam," He replied,

"Do you know Mary Anne?" Her Mum asked,

"Yes, why?" He replied,

"You're the only one she'll talk too," Said her Mum,

"Lead the way," He replied

They hurried up the cobbled street to the house.

"Mary Anne! Mary Anne! It's me! William! Please open up!" He
shouted,

With this he stood back and with an earthshaking crash, kicked the door
in, and found Mary Anne Dead.

" Noooo! Mary Anne! You can't of! You didn't! I Loved Yooooouuuuu!!!"
He shouted,

"There, There," Said her Mum,

"Get away!" He shouted,

He swung round with the dagger in his hand.

"Back off!" He shouted,

Then with on swift blow to his chest he died
Their death was sad but their love was pure, and I'm sure they met in
heaven.
