Lover's Plea
Roll me in your kisses
Wound me with your lies
Take me where the fairy fishes
Under yawning summer skies.
Steal the mercy from my heart
Wind me in your locked embrace
Show me what I need to start
Then flee away without a trace.
Treat me like a raven with
A broken wing
Hose me down with your love
Then teach me how to sing.
For those who love must bless
The sacred mountain
And to those that drink it's dear
If it comes from a fountain.
