Official Spam

Just got a letter, from DSS.
A month, it took them, more or less.
Opened it with some relief
then stared at it in disbelief.

I found (surprise) that they had sent
Another useless document.
Nothing to do with being ill,
The wrong form, pointless, bitter pill.

Phoned them, once again, today.
"Our apologies", they say.
"We'll send that form to you, right now."
How many weeks should I allow?

My heart won't let me rage or storm.
I must accept this as the norm.
I'm just a file that's system-read.
Meat, well-processed, before it's dead.
