One Last Goodbye

Our house was burgled the other day
Someone took my mummy away
I watched them as the doctor came
He shook his head, dad did the same
I miss her dearly, every minute
Every bone in my body feels it
Hours pass and years go by
Every night I sit and cry
I know she's in a better place
But I need her here, just incase
I need to learn, I need advice
My mum was always very wise
Daddy tells me she's OK
But he wishes she had got to stay
Inside I wonder, whose to blame?
Its not like my life is a game
If it was, I know I'd lose
I know I'd die if I could choose
I'd go to heaven, kiss her lips
Wrap my arms around her hips
Say "I love you" one last time
And hand to her this precious rhyme.
