The Organist
Smell the sea and feel the soul
Of our ancestors buried here
Read our stones and know
What courage was shown
And where there are no words
Feel humble
Follow the worn steps
To the great West Door
Be still and quiet
Look back towards the sea
For you do not know who is by your side
Hold the chalice
Let your hands explore
Along it's seams
The adventures and passions
That carried it here
So shiny and loved
Listen while I play for you
My fingers greeting each key
As if they are old friends
Let's fill the air with praise, celebration
And cherished traditions
Let it be known always that all
Are welcome here
