PARENTS! Who needs them&;#063;

Parents are the biggest pain in the ass,
That is all I really have to say.
Mine won't let me drink or smoke grass,
But what did they do in their day?

"Your skirt's too short and your hair's too long!"
Nag nag nag nag nag every single day.
"Turn it down, there's too much language in that song!"
But when they listened to it, it was okay.

Parents make me want to tear my hair out,
And I'm sure that that's all I can say.
I must be polite and I mustn't shout,
But I'm so sure they did it in their day!

"Sit with your legs crossed, stop staring at that boy!"
I have to live with this almost every day.
"Don't use that tone with me, I've heard that ploy!"
But no matter what, for them it's okay.

Parents have a conspiriacy going on,
This is something I can definately say.
They plan to ruin your life and spoil your fun,
Just like their own used to do in their day!

Parents pick you up after you've been to the mall,
They came to the volleyball match you played in that day.
They bought you those shoes that made you seem so tall,
So I guess, in a kind of desperate sense, they're okay.
