Fame Academy

The show allows viewers to vote, students to be rewarded, students to
be expelled, the teachers to have a great time - but is it all a sham?
I find it a grueling proceedure that the probation students have to
indure. They have to sing for survival, wait to be voted on, and their
own friends vote against them. I think it is bad that they learn how to
sing from scratch. What about the people who have raw talent
already?
Onto the students. Ainsley is a wild child - a loony who has a great
voice and thinks he is a god to be worshipped. Nigel wouldn't have got
away with the things Ainsley got away with, because he's a Dad, and
those kidz have sure got a cool Dad. He's got a Bryan Adams voice, and
look where Bryan's voice got him. Not my taste but has talent. I would
say that Katie is the worst. Her fame for surviving is saving her time
and time again, and I think she may win because of her fame for that.
Katie - you've got a great voice, talent, but compared to David, you
won't make it. David I think is the best. His raw voice has been glazed
over so it shines with feeling. He'll go far.
On the whole, I think the show is money making and uses the students.
All the money from the phone calls to vote! And all that trauma, time
off and for nothing for all but one student! The producers are money
making vandals, good show, but I'm not a student. Go David! Keep it up
Nigel! Ainsley, begave! Show that talent Katie!
