Prayers of a conservationist
When they came for the tree, I did not speak out. Because i needed
paper with which to write.
When they came for the woods, i did not speak out. Because i needed a
table on which to eat.
When they came for the forest, i did not speak out. Because i needed a
fire to keep me warm.
When they came for the river, i did not speak out. Because i needed
nuclear power to light my house.
When they came for the animals, i did not speak out. Because i needed
the lotion to make my skin smooth.
When they came for the astroid; to save the world. I spoke out and
said, "Whats the point? There's no world left to save."
