Pregnant Wives

Three friends that find out that they are all pregnant at the same time
decide to meet at the zoo to celebrate. Each of the ladies only visited
one animal before she becomes tired and decides to rest. The first lady
visits the tiger cage, the second the lion cage and the third the bear
cage.

Several months later they all meet for lunch and find that they're
eating habits have dramatically changed. The three ladies were all
vegetarians before they became pregnant and now found that they had a
liking for steak, pork and fish. They all go their separate ways and do
not meet again until they arrive at the hospital to give birth to their
babies.

It was not by luck that they all showed up at the same hospital for
they had been sharing things since high school. They all married their
high school sweetheart and attended the same church so it was no
surprise to anyone that they would have the same doctor. When the time
came, they each went into labor within a few hours of each other. This
was not the most unusual thing. The most unusual thing and the thing
that caused a rather large stir about the hospital were the fact that
they did not give birth to ordinary human children. The women's'
children from the standpoint of all the observers were said to resemble
wild animals. One woman's child's face resembled a lion cub, the second
had a weird striped birthmark and the third had a very unusual amount
of hair. Some people say he had a light covering of fur all over his
body. The women loved their children and took them home. They grew up
to be fairly normal children even though they did seem to have a very
unusual attachment to the animals at the zoo.
