PRINCESS YOU'RE SLEEPING
The world is now weeping, for Princess you're sleeping
The price of your fame, a world knows
As summer was ended and autumn descended
From this life you were plucked like a rose
Your life was for sharing, your life was for caring
Now it's gone, one more victim of fame
You were chased like a fox is, by men with black boxes
Whose only ambition was gain
Your life sometimes tragic, matured into magic
Each heart that you touched gathered hope
The limbless, the dying; the weak and the crying
Met an angel who offered them hope
Diana you're missed, but this earth you have kissed
With a presence that few have achieved
In a world often blind; you were there, you were kind
And the hearts that you touched could believe
Now as this world has ended, and heaven transcended
Your goodness on earth will unfold
All the dreams you began, all the things that you planned
Carry on; in the hearts of the bold
