Questions and Curiosity

As a new Prefect (the job was bagged by moi) I am really getting
annoyed with beastly little kids that think they are wonderful and
clever. I'm okay with the fact that they are proud of themselves. It's
when they start getting rude and crossing the line when I start to get
angry. Trying hard to remember that being a Prefect means no physical
violence, I had a job getting a little kid down from the mud. I asked
another kid to tell a dinner lady. Little brats like that could lose me
my job. And my sanity. So - kids answering back like brats is really
annoying. But what if the kid is only trying to state his or her point
of view. Don't they get a chance to say their side of the story until
the headteacher checks them out? I think that the full story should be
required before pursuing more. As for curiousity - what goes on in the
mind of a brat. Are they just brats or attention seekers? I don't know,
because I don't plan to be one.
