Rapier wit
DEATH appeared before me
HE says, "we have a date!"
Then, from beneath his darkened cloak
He extends the hand of fate
We'll I didn't really have time to think
My reactions got the better of me
And, poor old Mr Death and his hand
They parted company
And, as his hand soared through the air
Watched on by Mr Dead
Suddenly it was followed
By his somewhat bewildered head
Then came an arm and then his spleen
And, before he had a chance to beg
All that was left beneath his tattered cloak
Was a little piece of leg
And so it was, from that pay on
We live forever as time passes
Well, serves him right for disturbing me
In the middle of my FENCING classes!
