Requiem For Innocence

Low has not seen the depths which I fall.
Softly, quietly, I am dissolved.
The wind no longer stirs my soul.
The sun no longer dries my tears.
I sold this all for my endless fears.
I embracing nothing, as she holds me tight
I close my eyes. There is no fight.
Submersed to no cause,
I learn not to dream. This requiem is black, With the time I now lack.
So easily fallen from my path,
Not days ago I still laughed.
The bind that held my heart inside
Its come undone, exposed, I die.
Fly from this earth to nowhere,
Where I belong, no one cares.
They call to me, the others, the lost and the weak:
…. “Come with us, come sleep”…
I stand alone, only myself to keep.
I belong not even to them,
This is it, finally, my end.
