Serpent! Snake! Liar!

A green eyes winks at me,
A smile is tossed in my direction,
A hand beckons me.
But I see the scales,
The pointed edge of fangs,
The glassy sheen of your eyes.
Serpent!
Snake!
Liar!
You roll your tongue around your mouth,
And flash your teeth again.
You do all this to hypnotise me
into believeing in your love.
The tongue you deserve should be forked at the end
like that of the serpent you are.

I stare daggers into your head,
and imagine the blue blood that would flow.
The frozen liquid that runs through your veins
and immunises your heart from love.
You see my eyes glinting like blades,
You slither on your belly to your lover.
